The Bookmarkers Book Club
Free and open to any adult. You may pick & choose which books & meetings you attend, read what you like & come when you can! The Bookmarkers Book Club regularly meets on the second Tuesday of each month from 12:00 – 2:00pm at the Franklin Public Library.
Mindfulness & Meditation Evenings
Join us on the 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of each month from 5:00 – 6:00 PM for mindfulness & meditation. This time provides an opportunity to practice turning inward & focusing your mind in a group. Group meditation can support concentration, awareness, and deepening of experience. The hour will be divided between guided and silent meditation with a short break between sessions. Free, no registration required & no experience necessary.
The Oil City Library Book Club
Join us at the Oil City Library for a monthly Adult Book Club! This Book Club meets on the first Thursday of each month at 10:30AM at the Oil City Library.
Adult Craft Club
Come craft with us! Participating is always free & all materials will be provided. We create a different project each month & always have a fun time! Registration is required for this program so that enough supplies can be provided. To register for the next Adult Craft Club night, please call or stop in to your library!
The Thursday Evening Book Club
Free and open to any adult. You may pick & choose which books & meetings you attend, read what you like & come when you can! The Thursday Evening Book Club regularly meets on the third Thursday of the month from 5:00 – 6:00PM at the Franklin Public Library.
Writer's Flock
A group specifically for writers! Discuss & explore writing ideas with fellow writers to strengthen your writing skills & refresh your perspective. This group also offers the opportunity to both give AND receive feedback on each member’s writings on a consistent basis. The group meets the 1st Monday of each month at the Oil City Library from 6:30 – 7:30 PM in the small Conference Room downstairs.
