Are you an aspiring or seasoned artist or creative in Northwestern PA with dreams of running a successful creative business? Do you want to demystify the complex world of art marketing, art sales, pricing, and more? Look no further! We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming full-day workshop that will provide you with the essential knowledge and tools to take your artistic journey to the next level.
This FREE (supported by a grant from Erie Arts & Culture, with funds from the National Endowment for the Arts) workshop is designed to help creatives master the business of being full-time creatives.
Here’s a sneak peek of what you can expect during this transformative day:
🌅 Morning Networking (9 AM – 10 AM): CREATIVE MEET AND GREET – Kickstart the day with delicious coffee, scones, and muffins provided by Woods & River Coffee.
🎨 Morning Session (10 AM – 11:45 AM): LET’S GET THIS PARTY STARTED – Dive into the fundamentals of starting a creative business. Learn about creating a solid business plan, setting realistic goals, and managing your expectations.
🥪 Lunch Break (12 PM – 12:45 PM): BREAK TIME – Enjoy a scrumptious lunch snack supplied by Core Goods, recharge, and network with fellow artists.
🎨 Afternoon Sessions (1 PM – 4 PM): THE MEAT AND POTATOES – Get ready to explore the core aspects of your creative business journey:
- 1 PM – Pricing and Showcasing Your Art: Discover the art of pricing your creations and mastering various avenues, including festivals, galleries, and DIY selling.
- 2 PM – Creative Marketing: Uncover innovative techniques for marketing your art both online and offline.
- 3 PM – Maximizing Your Web Presence: Learn how to make the most of your online footprint and build a powerful digital presence.
- 4 PM – Capitalizing on Creativity: Find out how to get your art in front of a wider audience and leverage your unique talents.
📢 ARTIST Q&A (5 PM): Recharge with delectable snacks from a local shop and get ready for an enlightening Q&A session where you can ask your burning questions and receive expert advice.
📚 Workshop Materials: Attendees will receive workbooks, checklists, Stickers and additional resources to reinforce the workshop’s key takeaways.
