Teen Reading Lounge
Teen Reading Lounge is back! Join us on Tuesdays starting on October 14th, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm at the Franklin Public Library. This year’s theme, “Voice & Vision,” aims to help teens foster confidence and empowerment through self-expression and personal advocacy by developing leadership skills and encouraging them to speak up for themselves and others. The theme emphasizes the significance of self-expression as a means of fostering self-confidence and promoting personal growth. By allowing teens to authentically express their thoughts, feelings, and ideas, whether through art, speech, or other forms of communication, they can strengthen their sense of identity and purpose. In the broader sense, it encourages teens to use their voice not just for personal growth but also to make a positive impact in their communities. This session of TRL is about creating young leaders who are not only confident in who they are but also empowered to create meaningful change in the world around them.
It will once again be a 6 week session open to ages 12-18. For more information and to register, please visit this Google form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc2ubIyBOYkgZtpNwM_Xz_-tzdeWhhNs8MBrOmJMhtTLOQF6A/viewform?usp=sf_link
